Gabe Harris
Hi, I'm Gabe Harris. Welcome to my profile!
I develop for the browser, making interactive pages that work well across multiple devices and platforms. I prefer designing in the browser, and progressively enhancing web pages, but my skills from the days of making designs match a PSD comp are still razor sharp. I do not consider myself a designer, nor a coder, nor an information architect, nor a UI specialist, but a combination of the multitude of disciplines that make web browsers worth opening. In addition to front-end development, my experience also includes PHP (Wordpress and CodeIgniter), ASP, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server, and MySQL. While I am more than willing to contribute to a team environment, I also thrive on taking sole ownership of projects from conceptualization to roll-out. With new plugins, frameworks, methodologies and techniques coming out all the time, I'm excited to be a part of the front-end development community and look forward to broadening my capabilities. Specialties: HTML(5), CSS(3), LESS, SASS, JavaScript(jQuery), PHP, SQL, VB.NET, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Wordpress, SQL, PhotoShop, Web Analytics, Email Marketing, User Interface
